Salur grew up in Istanbul. She’s a performer, director, and a dance-theater artist.
Received her Acting BFA from California Institute of the Arts in 2017.
At the age of 13, she auditioned for her first musical Moulin Rouge. Since then she has been in many school productions such as Chicago, The Miser, Lüküs Hayat, and many more. At her high school graduation diploma ceremony, she got awarded the Performing Arts Special Award. This was the first time in Hisar School’s history that ever was given such an award.
Right after CalArts, she debuted her first-ever European tour with an original play called Fore! as the lead character Anna. The play was written by Aleshea Harris and directed by Arnaud Meunier.
In 2015 she established her performing arts collective The Movement Project by debuting her first original dance-theater piece HAREM.
In 2017 she got accepted to debut her second original dance-theater piece V O I D as a part of HERE Arts Center’s Co-Op Sublet Series in New York. The piece later renamed her collective to VOID the Movement Project.
She's currently working on her original solo piece Found.
